In Healing Series

Being immunocompromised has meant giving up a lot of things in the short term to benefit in the long term. Including photographing other people. But it has also given me the gift of time and focus on self and on looking through past work with fresh perspective.
This work signifies a lot of lasts: last of winter, last attempts, and last hope. It also signifies as lot of firsts: first steps forward, first choosing of oneself, and first days with a new perspective.
