Community is what you MAKE it!

COMMUNITY+Connects: Online is Scarborough Arts yearly creative and professional development workshop series that aims to provide audiences of all ages and skill levels with free access to arts-based instructions from renowned Scarborough and GTA-based creative professionals.

Each year, Scarborough Arts offers a range of creative workshops that are free to the public and offer comprehensive skill building for audiences of all ages. Our COMMUNITY+Connects programs are offered as Spring Sessions (March-May), Summer Sessions (June-August), Fall Sessions (September-November), and Winter Sessions (December-February).

Thanks to generous funding from the Alan Slaight Family Foundation, we have partnered with Workman Arts to deliver special Community+Connects Satelite Programs. These programs offer a dynamic range of arts programming that aims to build lasting social connections and mental health benefits through meaningful engagement and high-quality arts facilitation.

For the past 40 years, community has been at the heart of Scarborough Arts. We remain committed to our mandate of serving the people and communities of Scarborough during the COVID-19 pandemic and into the future through new online and accessible programming.

Scarborough Arts is pleased to present: COMMUNITY+Connects: Online an online platform for facilitated workshops, mentorship, artist talks and tours, professional development opportunities, and most importantly, connection.

Please see below for the current COMMUNITY+Connects: Online line-up of upcoming programs, and stay tuned to the Scarborough Arts Instagram @scarborougharts, Facebook: Scarborough Arts, and website www.scarborougharts.com for added programs and opportunities.
