Black Women Film! Canada, in collaboration with Scarborough Arts, presents our Afro-centric youth film camp now as an outdoor and online offering for teens lead by Black women filmmakers!

This year, Black Girls Film Camp will be diving into documentary filmmaking and video creation. An amazing opportunity to learn from Black women in the industry, while creating another supportive, playful and holistic experience outdoors that is guaranteed to be a lot of fun! The camp will be running from August 6th to 15th on Scarborough Arts grounds at 1859 Kingston Road.

Ten more spots are available! Sign up by July 24. Apply here.

Created in collaboration with the Black Women Film! Canada with generous support from the Harbinger Foundation, Workman Arts and Toronto Arts Council. Admission is free for successful applicants.

Note : This camp will be in keeping to Toronto physical distancing by-laws. All participants will be given masks for outdoor and film productions days. We will also be following strict sanitizing protocols during the camp and covering the cost of the data / wifi required to participate in the camp.  In addition, all staff will be partially if not fully vaccinated at the start of the camp.
