Introspection
With this piece I wanted to reflect a deep state of introspection influenced by the reality of a two-year long pandemic. This time has been extremely difficult for many, and I felt there was some thing to be said about being forced to slow down and re-evalutate what we deem to be truly important in our lives.
This piece represents a metamorphosis, enveloped by catharsis, a sense of grounding, and ultimately healing.

About Oliviana Cinco
Cznco (b. Venezuela, 1996) is an interdisciplinary artist and creative director based in Toronto, Canada. Currently, her work explores the processes of personal development in relation to the interconnectedness of media, communication and the environment. Combining mixed media techniques and principles of ecology, she uses her research to translate the parallels between man and nature, interpreting subject matter to distinguish between the organic and technological self. Cznco earned a double-major BA in Visual Arts and Communication Media and Film from the University of Windsor (2019).
