Scarborough Arts is proud to support the upcoming Rainbow’s Pride in Scarborough (RPIS) event: 2SQTBIPOCSA Multicultural Youth Voices Vs The World Art Exhibit Celebration!
This is a free event featuring art pieces and art work from Youth Community Artist with intellectual, Physical, Developmental Abilities and Mental health from the 2SQTBIPOCSA Community who expressed themselves through mental health, ancestry and culture and Abilities.
17 portraits will be displayed along with books and zines made by youth artist. A documentary screening will take place during the event, as well as a youth panel, and an award ceremony hosted by RPIS co-founded, Rainbow Chanel, and RPIS team member Dre.
Land Acknowledgment and drumming by special guest, Tristan, to open the space.
Live performance by Mss. Fire Torch
Featuring MC Host of the event: Slim Thick.
This event is free and open to the public with food, refreshments, snacks and drinks provided.
Come out and support Rainbow’s Pride in Scarborough and connect with some inspiring youth artist with lived experience and their amazing art work.

Access notes: The Scarborough Civic Centre is wheelchair accessible and with accessible washrooms. The event will be taking place on the main floor of the building with a wheel chair ramp access to the front entrance.
