Scarborough Arts is honored and excited to announce our partnership with Scarborough-based photographer, Anthony Gebrehiwot, in the public art workshop series, “Intersections” which is a City of Toronto Arts & Culture Signature Project.

“Intersections” is a 10-week public art workshop series exploring the ways in which our regional and geographical locations interact and intertwine with our social memory. Through group dialogue, community building, and asking thoughtful questions, participants will develop a critical lens that will contend against imperialist, patriarchal and predominantly white hegemonic notions/practices of gentrification through the medium of photography.
