Scarborough Sign at Taste of Lawrence

Scarborough Arts had the pleasure of attending and tabling at Taste of Lawrence on July 7th and July 8th. We were happy to be out talking with the community and sharing more about our fantastic programs, including the Scarborough Sign! The Scarborough Sign shined in colourful glory this weekend, featuring a brand new design by the EAST H.E.A.R.T. Team! Surrounded by the community and the fantastic performances (& FOOD!), the Scarborough Arts team, and all those involved and who attended ToL for this wonderful weekend! It was a pleasure to see the beautiful pictures you took at the Scarborough Sign! Scarborough Arts is excited to be at upcoming summer events - we look forward to seeing you there.  

As part of plazaPOPS 2023, the Scarborough Sign has moved from its location at Taste of Lawrence to its new location at the Wexford Plaza (1867 Lawrence Ave E.). 

The EAST H.E.A.R.T. Year 3 youth participants conceptualized and painted the Scarborough Sign design led by artist and facilitator Jared Olsever.
