Join Professor Ballu Thakur and Artist Connie Tong on a culinary arts food tour exploring the spices and flavours that make up the four corners of Pharmacy and Lawrence. Discover and explore how the spice trade in many ways helped lay the foundation of the modern world and fostered the cuisines in this community. Learn and share about the incredible rich histories and personal connections to the subtle colours, aromas and tastes that made spices so valuable in our curated selection of restaurants.
Savor dishes from Egypt to Bengal, to the Eastern Mediterranean and Asia. At the end of the tour, treat yourself with something handcrafted and sweet.
