Deconstructing through Dance

Join Jillian Rahim-Parris for Deconstructing Through Dance Workshop this weekend, October 8,9 and next weekend, October 15, 16, from 4-6 PM. This course explores the dimensions of Indian Bollywood Dance through one (1) choreographed piece. In each class, participants will learn about the context of the song and elements of dance and will be encouraged to think critically about the impact of ideologies perpetuated by Bollywood culture. This workshop is free to participate in, and snacks and TTC fare will be provided.

Dates: October 8,9 and next weekend, October 15, 16.

Time: 4-6 PM
