Paint Scenic Landscapes Across Scarborough This June!

Capture stunning landscapes through paint and the power of your own creation in this 5-week intensive gouache and painting workshop with artist Raoul Olou. Over the course of this program, you will review and practice various technical aspects of gouache portraiture including figure painting, lighting, shape, value, etc.

With a focus on landscapes and observational painting, these lessons will be taking place outdoors at different locations across Scarborough each week. Participants will be receiving art kits prior to the course to make their gorgeous masterpieces. Happening Sundays 2-4PM, June 5, 12, 19, 26, July 3.

About the artist:
Raoul Olou is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, whose work focuses on home, belonging and archiving the mundane. Recently, Olou was awarded the mayor purchased award from the City of Toronto, at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair. He also participated in charity auctions including Art with Heart to support HIV care.

This program is generously funded by the J.P. Bickell Foundation General Charities Grant and Delta Bingo & Gaming. This program will be capped at 15 participants, who will be receiving an art kit with painting and sketch materials. This will be an in-person workshop series in accordance with current public health & safety measures.
