Volunteers are at the heart of everything that we do: from surface & symbol, our bi-monthly newspaper, to Art in the Park and our Annual Juried Show, volunteers are there! SA benefits from the help and support of volunteers in presenting art exhibitions, workshops, outdoor events, youth programs, digital art initiatives and a host of other activities. Volunteers benefit from new experiences, gain skills and contribute to the health and vitality of their community.

There are many opportunities for community members to get involved. Volunteers assist us in preparing surface & symbol for distribution, coordinating events and programs, assisting with exhibit setup and take down and administration at the SA office.
