I Have a Dream (IHAD) was a dance collective movement involving youth ages 15-19 years old. This dance collective led by youth and for youth engaged self-taught youth dancers and encouraged them to pursue dance through knowledge, experience and available resources needed to be successful in the field.  IHAD was a Collaboration between Scarborough Arts and the I Have a Dream Collective, funded by the Laidlaw Foundation.

In 2010, youth across the Scarborough region auditioned for their part in the I Have a Dream collective movement in hopes of taking part in the 2011 dance workshops. Entering the intensive IHAD workshops, each of these individuals were able to refine their self-taught moves with the help of professionals from the Larchaud Dance Project.
