Scarborough Arts Update On COVID -19 (Coronavirus)
SCARBOROUGH ARTS UPDATE ON COVID-19
AND NOTICE OF OFFICE CLOSURE
In light of recent updates regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Scarborough Arts (SA) has opted to take protective measures to aid in controlling and containing the spread of the virus. As such, we will be doing a blanket closure of all programs commencing Monday March 16, 2020 until further notice, in alignment with the provincial school board closures, health and governmental authorities. We anticipate a public closure until further notice, and will keep you posted on any further changes as new information becomes available.
Our offices, programs and Bluffs Gallery will be closed to the public. During this time, we are requesting all of our team members work remotely and limit social contact. The staff will continue planning, administration, and coordination of upcoming programs which will proceed as usual. As a result, we will be pausing all in-person meetings, instead asking that we continue our engagements by phone or email. Our plan enables us to continue with our commitment to providing a high level of service to our stakeholders, while keeping in-line with the direction of health and governmental authorities.
Please expected delayed response times to emails and phone calls due to our internal efforts to respond to adjusting work flows amid this health circumstance. Please note: access to Scarborough Arts’ general phone line will be limited and we encourage email communications. To reach us please contact:
