Last year, The Scarborough Sign Selfie Contest attracted over 80 submissions from Scarborough residents. Responding to the prompt of “Scarborough’s Most Creative Selfie,” residents sent us playful selfies with their dogs, photos of their children exploring the sign, and people in impressive yoga poses and dance moves. This year, we look forward to seeing more fun and creative photo submissions!
This year, we are asking Scarborough residents to submit their most creative photo and tell us what kind of public art they would like to see in Scarborough.
“The Scarborough Sign Photo Contest is an engaging opportunity to build dialogue around the importance of public art within Scarborough,” says Derek Spooner, Scarborough Arts’ Executive Director. “We hope this contest will bring communities together in the celebration of the fun and creative encounters that can be experienced in Scarborough.”
