How long have you been a member of Scarborough Arts?
I have been a member of Scarborough Arts since 2003.

What kind of art do you practice, and how long have you been practising it?
I practice visual, contemporary, and abstract paintings in acrylic, oil, and mixed media. I include nature’s material within my work, and thereby I am contributing to and bring to viewers the importance of protecting the environment. My pieces are on display in local businesses and institutions, and I exhibit locally. For example, I currently have pieces at Morningside’s Recreation Centre and Morningside Public Library.

Tell us about the pieces we’re featuring.
These pieces I am featuring were created from sand and glitters and beautifully framed. One in particular is depicting sun rise and splendour of the universe.

Where is your favourite place in Scarborough to go for inspiration?
My inspirations comes from going to Port Union with my dog and walking along Lake Ontario and look out into the water and observe the water’s stillness and peacefulness I also receive inspiration from walking in the fall through the forest and parks in Scarborough and observing the changing colours of the trees.
