Bluffs Gallery: ‘Lost and Found’ Exhibition and Sale

Posted on July 5th, by scararts in Featured, Recent News. No Comments

We are gearing up to animate the Bluffs Gallery with works that, over the course of many years, have been left behind or lost. Many artists who have exhibited at Scarborough Arts have left behind pieces that now sit in closets within our building on Kingston Road. We will exhibit these “lost” works during the week of July 25 and 29. Artists are welcome to drop by the Gallery during office hours to see if they have left their work behind. They can re-claim a piece they created if they bring some evidence that they are the original creator of the work. On the evening of Friday, July 29 from 6 to 8 PM, we will set up pieces that have not been claimed by the artists in our parking lot and invite the public and membership to bid on the pieces. All proceeds from this event will go towards our youth and children’s programs (EAST and Kaleidoscope).

The Lost and Found exhibition will be up at the Bluffs Gallery until the end of August 2016.
