Scarborough Arts Building on 1859 Kingston Road

On May 26 and 27, explore the spaces within the Scarborough Arts building on 1859 Kingston Road and find out about the building’s history, architecture, and interesting facts and stories as part of Doors Open Toronto presented by Great Gulf

Scarborough Arts opens its doors to the public on Doors Open 2018 weekend. Drop by to participate in free guided tours of the Scarborough Arts building, a 1920’s Arts and Crafts style dwelling converted into an arts centre that now houses the Bluffs Gallery as well as Scarborough Arts’ and Mural Routes’ offices. Take part in fun, family-friendly arts activities and find out about our summer festival season!

For both days, Scarborough Arts will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM. Drop-in guided tours will run for 30-45 minutes and will take place at 11 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM.

The event is FREE and is open to all! No registration is required to participate in the guided tours.

One weekend every year Doors Open Toronto provides an opportunity to explore some of the most architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings across the city, many of which are not usually open to the public.

The event also features walking tours, a speaker series, music series and other special programs. All activities are free, but some require advance registration.
