Toronto Arts Council's Newcomer and Refugee Artist Mentorship Grant Information Session @ Scarborough Arts | Toronto | Ontario | Canada

The Toronto Arts Council has created two new granting programs designed to serve newcomers and refugees in Toronto: Newcomer and Refugee Arts Engagement and Newcomer and Refugee Artist Mentorship

The program provides funding for individual newcomer and refugee professional* artists to be mentored (guided) in their chosen arts discipline. The mentorship application is submitted by the newcomer artist, with comments from the mentor as the co-applicant. Both the applicant and the mentor must identify as professional* artists. The total grant is $10,000. $5,000 is paid directly to the applicant and $5,000 is paid directly to the mentor.

Find more information about the grant here, and attend the Information Session at Scarborough Arts’ Bluffs Gallery on February 21 to learn more.

To reserve your spot for the session, please e-mail rupal@torontoartscouncil.org. Include your full name as well as any translation services or accessibility services you require.
