Check out what’s up at Scarborough Arts!
Facilitated by: Mike Prosserman, Founder and Executive Director, UNITY Charity
Every project or program requires financial support for it to take place. Learn about the different ways of fundraising to support your projects, including public and private sector funding, sponsorships, events and earned revenue, and individual donations. This is a hands-on workshop where you will get the chance to build a realistic fundraising plan for an existing project.
This workshop is part of EAST Collective’s Professional Development Workshop Series offered to youth aged 16 to 24 years old. Learn about the business side of being an artist; find out where you can access resources to plan, fund, promote and successfully execute your event or project; and network with arts management and music industry professionals. Check out the complete lineup of workshops here.
All workshops are free, and will take place at Scarborough Civic Centre, from 6 to 8:30 pm. For more information and to register to these workshops, contact Dania Ansari at 416-698-7322 or email east [at] scarborougharts [dot] com.
