BIG ART BOOK 2014
The BIG ART BOOK is:
A fresh assortment of creativity; an invitation to make new connections; an opportunity to embrace new media and build upon traditional forms of artistic expression in Scarborough.
This year’s third book was inspired by the theme BACK TO BASICS. What inspired you to become an artist? What is at the foundation of your practice? What got (or gets) you started? Artists and writers were invited to interpret these questions in any way they liked.
VISUAL ART: Erin Peck is Exhibitions & Outreach Coordinator at the Doris McCarthy Gallery, University of Toronto Scarborough. She previously held positions at the Ontario Association of Art Galleries and Gallery TPW.
