Alive with Art Call for Applications - Deadline Extended - August 1, 2017

DEADLINE EXTENDED: Tuesday, August 1, 2017

Scarborough Arts’ Alive with Art, previously called Art in the Park, is a FREE two-day arts festival showcasing the very best of Scarborough’s burgeoning local arts scene. Taking place over two weekends in August 2017, Alive with Art will animate local spaces including the Scarborough Museum on August 19, 2017 and Scarborough Arts’ Harrison Estate Park on August 26, 2017. Scarborough will come alive with site-specific participatory art installations, an arts market, live art battles, outdoor music performances, arts workshops, family-friendly activities, food, and free film screenings. Everyone is invited to experience a Scarborough buzzing with art and creativity!

Applications are now being accepted for art vendors who wish to set up a booth to showcase and sell their work at the Harrison Estate Park event on August 26. Artists and artisans who produce and sell original works of art in all media (e.g. photographs, mixed media, paintings, handmade crafts, zines and publications, and sculpture, etc.) are invited to apply. Please note that Alive with Art is a rain-or-shine event.

The deadline for vendor applications is Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
