Scarborough Arts is thrilled to present Art in the Park: Harrison Properties (#AiPHarrison) on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the park adjacent to our ‘home’ at Harrison Properties on 1859 Kingston Road. #AiPHarrison is a one-day multi-arts festival that brings together Scarborough’s community of professional and emerging artists working in different creative disciplines to showcase Scarborough’s artistic diversity and vibrancy.

Come and join us at the park from 10 AM to 4 PM and enjoy one-of-a-kind visual art and handmade crafts from over 50 artist vendors, plus a full day of interactive and accessible arts activities in visual art, music, dance, and literature with the Scarborough community. Everyone is welcome! Food and drinks will also be available for purchase onsite. At this event, we are also announcing Scarborough Arts’ new slate of programming for 2016-2017.

We are also facilitating a silent auction to help fund our community programs for the upcoming year. Prizes include: two VIA Rail tickets to Montreal; merchandise from Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment; autographed pointe shoes from National Ballet of Canada; passes to the Gardiner Museum; subscriptions to The Walrus; a one-year membership and exhibition catalogues from The Robert McLaughlin Gallery; a mini putt and driving range experience package from Scarborough Family Golf Course; passes to Bad Axe Throwing; and basic beginner lesson passes to Joe Rockhead’s Indoor Rock Climbing.

Admission is FREE! See you at the Harrison Properties on August 27!

  1. Very interesting! I Thanks Scarborough Arts and Everyone involved with this ART IN THE PARK, it was the best! Art BATTLE WAS AMAZING!
GLAD I WAS THERE TO get Francine(Franny’s) painting started. She eventually won the whole battle! Attendance was great! The article in the Toronto Star, Scarborough Mirror newspapers helped motivate the people to see whats new at the @rt in the Park!
