At the heart of Patio Records is the sponsorship of concerts and recordings
to help create garden patios at hospitals for individuals battling through
the afflictions of cancer. Events and contributions to date helped bring to
fruition the Mary Eagan Garden at Children's Hospital Boston at Waltham that
adjoins the Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Care Center as well as Healing
Gardens in several Ontario locations.

In September, 2008, the first Mary Eagan Garden in Canada was opened within
the 4.5 acre Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivors Park in Ottawa,

January, 2010, saw the Minto Courtyard come to fruition at the sterling new
Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in
Ottawa's west end. The goal for 2011 was to see the infusion of a water
feature within the Mary Eagan Garden right outside the door into the
courtyard.
Further gardens are being built at cancer centers and hospitals in Grand
River and Renfrew.
